What items will be prohibited at the inaugural activities?
The following items are prohibited at the Swearing-In Ceremony, Inaugural Exhibit of the Pennsylvania Arts and Children's Program, Open House at the Governor's Residence, and Inaugural Celebration:
Firearms; ammunition; explosives, including fireworks; knives, blades, and other sharp objects; mace and pepper spray; sticks or poles; pocket or hand tools; packages, backpacks, large bags, duffel bags, and suitcases; aerosol sprays; thermoses and coolers; strollers; umbrellas; laser pointers; air horns; signs and posters; animals (other than service animals); portable chairs (other than those for disabled persons); alcoholic beverages; and any other items that may pose a threat to the security of the event determined by security screeners.
Outside food or beverage will be prohibited at the Inaugural Exhibit of the Pennsylvania Arts and Children's Program, Open House at the Governor's Residence, and Inaugural Celebration.
Can I bring my camera?
Cameras are permitted at the Swearing-In Ceremony, the open house at the Governor's Residence, Inaugural Celebration. Cameras are not permitted within the Inaugural Exhibit of the Pennsylvania Arts.

Will there be street closures in Harrisburg?
Please be advised that the 300, 400, 500, and 600 block of Commonwealth Avenue on the East side of the Capitol Complex will be closed all day, January 20, for inaugural activities.
In order to prepare for the upcoming inaugural events, there will be temporary closings and lane restrictions on portions of Commonwealth Avenue beginning January 14 and ending January 19.
Capitol Complex Employees are reminded that due to Inaugural activities, assigned parking may not be available.
What is the dress code for the inaugural celebration?
The dress code calls for celebratory attire. This is not a black-tie event, but guests are welcome to dress however they feel comfortable to attend an evening celebration.
Can I pay for my inaugural celebration tickets with a check?
In you are unable to pay by credit card and need to pay by check, please contact email@example.com.
Where can our charter bus drop people off?
All charter bus arrivals should drop attendees off at 400 North Street in Harrisburg. They should then park at the PA Farm and Expo Center at 2300 North Cameron Street in Harrisburg.
The bus passenger drop off is located conveniently one block from the event gates. Guests can then take the inaugural shuttles to the Governor's Residence for the open house and back to the Farm Show for departure.
Will there be bathrooms at the swearing-in ceremony?
Restroom facilities will be available near Soldiers’ Grove, adjacent to the ceremony.
